The decoration in the hotel was absolutely charming, with lovely stone walls and beautifully preserved wooden beams. It felt like stepping back in time and added to the overall character of the place. The general areas, such as the courtyard with seating, were perfect for relaxing and enjoying the peaceful countryside location. As a senior woman, I found the hotel to be very accessible, with easy-to-navigate stairs and a cozy atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
I would have loved to see better outdoor/garden furniture during my stay. Everything else at the hotel was fantastic, but having more comfortable seating options outside would have made my vacation even more enjoyable as a senior.

I really loved the traditional decoration of the hotel, with its old-world charm and cozy atmosphere. The general areas were very well-maintained and comfortable, making it easy for senior people like me to move around and relax. The accessibility of the hotel was also a big plus, with everything conveniently located on one floor and no stairs to climb. It was perfect for someone like me who values comfort and ease of movement.
It would have been nice if there were more activities or entertainment options specifically catered to senior people. Being a senior woman, I would have enjoyed some organized events or excursions that would have allowed me to socialize with other guests in my age group.

I had a fantastic stay at this Casa. The host was kind and friendly, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As a pilgrim on the Caminho, it was the perfect location for me. The house had lots of space, including a lounge and cooking facilities. The private bathrooms were a bonus, and the hot showers were a welcome treat. The house was nicely decorated, giving it a cozy and traditional feel. There was a supermarket nearby, making it convenient to get any necessities I needed. it was a lovely place to stay, and the value for money was great.
Nothing that I didn't like.

We stayed at a delightful little converted stone outbuilding at Casa Do Avo Grande. Perfect for our Camino walk, it was cozy and well-decorated, with private bathrooms and a spacious lounge. The host was kind and friendly, and only pilgrims were staying there. The location was ideal, with a supermarket just down the road for easy meal preparation. Check-in was convenient and the value for money was outstanding. Highly recommend!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

My recent stay at a house in the suburbs on Caminho was fantastic. The big bed was incredibly comfortable and the kitchen was clean and adequate for all my needs. The house itself was lovely, with a quiet and airy atmosphere. The host went out of his way to help me, making my stay even more enjoyable. I especially appreciated the close proximity to coastal Caminho, allowing me to easily explore the beautiful coastline. Plus, there was a convenient shop nearby, which was a hidden gem not easily found on Google. I highly recommend this place as a nice little get-away worth visiting.
